Affinity Novare’s Deep-Dive: A 5-Day Small-Group Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy Retreat
With Jason Milne and Shelley Heusser
March 17 - 21, 2026
What if healing required more than an experience—and instead asked for careful listening, containment, and a deep understanding of the complexity of the mind? We truly listen to what moves beneath the surface of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, offering you an opportunity to encounter yourself more fully.
Affinity Novare offers a five-day psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy retreat embedded within a broader therapeutic process of preparation and integration. The retreat takes place in a quiet rural setting in the Netherlands, where psilocybin truffles can be used legally within an ethically held framework.
This retreat is intentionally limited to six participants. While many psychedelic retreats operate with 20 or more attendees, Affinity Novare prioritizes depth over scale. A smaller group allows for closer therapeutic presence, nuanced attunement to each participant’s psychological process, and a level of safety that is difficult to maintain in larger groups.
The retreat is led by a trained, registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist, not by coaches or general facilitators. This means the work is grounded in a deep understanding of unconscious dynamics, trauma, attachment, and the ways psychological material is held in the body. Psychedelic experiences are approached not as isolated events, but as expressions of an inner psychic reality that requires interpretation, care, and integration.
Affinity Novare is designed for individuals seeking serious inner work—those ready to engage with trauma, emotional patterns, existential questions, and unconscious material within a professionally held therapeutic space.
